Who we are

The Villa Americana ParK Hotel represent a real oasis in the heart of Rodi Garganico: a spaceful citrus garden surrounds the hotel and its services, from the fashionable rooms to the dining room, from the swimming pool to the meeting room, from the bar to the car park. The refined surrounding, the tastes of local cooking, the staff courtesy and competence, the Gargano’s wildlife colours and smells and the family management meet the needs of relax, enjoy and professionality of the most esigent guests, for a dreamful holiday along the traditions and the routes of the Sun’s Mountain.

Yestarday, today...

Villa Americana is not a fantasy name. The family that is managing the Park Hotel has italo-american origins: his head of family, Giuseppe Apicella, was born in Rodi Garganico and moved to the States in the first years of twentieth century. It was only 17 years old. There he got married and had 3 children. Once back to Italy, he went to live with his family in an house surrounded by citrus trees, just outside the main centre of Rodi. At the time, people referred to the place as “Villa Americana”, from "Peppino the American". Trough the time the place has been used as a ice factory, as a guest houses and even as a cinema, the only one ever built in Rodi Garganico. In 1993 Giuseppe’s grandsons, Giuseppe and Annarita, realize a small hotel that have been growing during the years and is still growing at the present. In those years of activity in the hospitality industry, the business has become a real passion for them, a job that satisfy themselves day by day being able to leave their guests an unforgivable staying in Villa Americana.

If you are reading these last lines, it means you have had patience, goodness and perhaps the curiosity to know our family and structure's history and just this is a sufficient reason to thank you with all of our heart as to your precious time you have dedicated to us.
Actually our efforts are just at the beginning. We have new ideas and plans for the future: a new, big amphitheatre for entertainment shows will be built in the future, while the Malibù Lido, the new bathing establishment has been opened in the summer 2008!
If tomorrow you will take the opportunity to come by us and visit our structure, this cold electronic contact could become an opportunity to transform it into a very human relationship which, as already happened with others of our guests, has then become a real and a pure friendship.
